It is a well known fact that the state of your bathroom can significantly impact the overall value of your home. It is also well known that the replacement cost of a new bathroom can cost your thousands of dollars. Here are a few tips that won’t break the bank when it comes to adding value to your current bathroom.

Replace the shower screen

If your current shower screen is looking worn or you just have mould that you just cannot remove, replacing the shower screen is an easy option. There is a choice of frameless, semi-frameless and framed shower screens that can be installed to give your bathroom a fresh and modern look.

Re-grout your tiles

You may find that the condition of your current tiles are okay but the grouting has stained or moulded over the years. Tile re-grouting is a quick and easy option to bring life back into your bathroom especially when wall tiles are re-grouted white.

Replace the bathroom mirror

Maybe your bathroom mirrors have been damaged over the years and started to wear around the edges. If they are framed mirrors, the frame may be deteriorating or rusting thus staining the colour of the frame.

Throw out the shower curtain

There is nothing that screams more than “cheap” in a bathroom than the use of a shower curtain especially of it is caked in mould and soap scum. Installing a glass shower screen is a very affordable option that will definitely add value.

Change your bathroom fittings

Are your bathroom fittings outdated? Simply replace the shower tap handles, shower rose and towel rails to inject the modern look and feel to your bathroom.
